# Game Regulations

At New York City, we are dedicated to fostering a respectful and enjoyable environment for all our members. To ensure everyone has an exceptional experience, we kindly ask all members to follow the guidelines\
\
\&#xNAN;**(1.0) Respect**\
\
▫️Within our server, everyone is welcome, regardless of their origin or beliefs. It is essential to show respect for others in order to foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for all.\
\
\&#xNAN;**(1.1) Realism**\
\
▫️Please avoid reckless driving. If your vehicle exceeds 25 MPH, you are required to roleplay crashes.

▫️New Life Rule: After your character has died, you must not remember your past life. This means no revenge roleplay if you have been killed.

\
▫️You must avoid wearing unrealistic avatars. Your avatar should remain realistic, with no floating heads, missing limbs, or any other unrealistic features.

\
▫️If EMS is available, please do not use the respawn button. Instead, click the 'Call EMS' button. If they do not respond within 3-5 minutes, then you may use the respawn option.

\
▫️You must not slant or glitch your vehicle in any way. Only use realistic, non-glitchy vehicles while in the server.

\
▫️You must stay below 60 miles per hour in the city, and you can go around 120 mph on the highway. Anything higher will be taken as **reckless driving**.

\
▫️You must also be open to roleplay. No Intention to Roleplay (NITRP) is not permitted; trolling or failing to take roleplay seriously is not allowed.

\
▫️You must roleplay being shot, tased, run over, and similar situations. If an officer tases you, you cannot immediately get back up and flee; you must properly roleplay the situation.

▫️You may not jump around objects or take any actions to avoid being hit by a weapon.\
\
\&#xNAN;**(1.2) Roleplays**\
\
▫️You must not roleplay as your own department. Use the departments provided in the server, such as no creating roles like FBI, Homeland Security, etc.\
\
▫️You must use our custom uniforms and liveries. Default liveries or uniforms are not allowed; only the ones provided by us should be used.\
\
▫️Do not interrupt or get involved in scenes you were not originally part of. For example, if your friend is being pulled over and you weren't there from the start, you cannot interfere with that roleplay.\
\
▫️You cannot run from law enforcement unless you have a valid reason. Once stopped in a traffic stop, you cannot pull a weapon and shoot at the officer without a valid reason, such as being a wanted criminal.\
\
▫️Homeless roleplays are allowed, but there are limits. You may NOT place tents on public roads or in parking lots/garages. Tents are allowed on grass, near abandoned buildings, and in suburbs or farm areas. The median across from spawn, as well as near actual stores or safe zones, are NOT permitted locations for tents.\
\
\&#xNAN;**(1.3) Arrests**\
\
▫️You must not auto-jail a player; instead, you are required to transport them to the county jail.

▫️You cannot randomly arrest people without a valid reason, nor can you walk up to someone just to check if they are wanted and cuff them. Arrests must be part of a proper, justified scene.\
\
\&#xNAN;**(1.4) VDM and RDM**\
\
▫️You must not shoot or kill someone without a valid reason. There must be a legitimate, justified reason for any use of force.\
\
▫️You must not purposely ram or crash into vehicles without a valid reason. Any collisions must be justified with a legitimate reason.\
\
\&#xNAN;**(1.5) Crime and Groups**\
\
▫️Mafias can consist of up to 3 people. Any group larger than 3 is considered gang roleplay, which is not allowed.\
\
▫️You must have at least two people to rob the jewelry store. And three people to rob a bank. Solo robberies are not allowed.\
\
▫️The crime-free areas include the Police Department, Sheriff's Office, both fire departments, and both civilian spawns. These are designated safe zones.\
\
▫️DUI and drug roleplay are allowed, but you must roleplay at your own risk and refrain from specifying a particular drug.\
\
\&#xNAN;**(1.5) Permissions**\
\
You must obtain explicit permission from a staff member before taking a player hostage or engaging in any form of kidnapping. This ensures that the situation is properly handled and aligns with the roleplay guidelines and server rules.\
\
\&#xNAN;**(1.6) Staff Members**\
\
▫️If a staff member teleports to you, you must immediately stop the roleplay scene and wait until the moderator gives permission to continue. This ensures the staff member can address any issues or concerns without disruption.\
\
▫️Leaving to avoid punishment is not allowed. For example, if you commit RDM (Random Deathmatch) in front of a staff member and then disconnect when the staff member attempts to cuff you, that is considered LTAP (Leave To Avoid Punishment) and is against the rules.

▫️If you disagree with a staff action, you are always welcome to appeal the moderation decision. If you wish to report a staff member, please feel free to submit a ticket for review.

▫️Moderators or staff team members may enforce rules not explicitly listed here if deemed necessary or if they are considered basic knowledge that should be understood by all members. Punishments for rule violations may vary at the moderator's discretion based on the situation.\
\
\&#xNAN;**(1.7) EMS Request**\
\
▫️If you die, you must wait at least 5 minutes for EMS to arrive. If there are no EMS available, you must wait for the roleplay to conclude before respawning. You are required to properly roleplay your injuries and death. Unless given a direct lethal injury, you must roleplay as being alive, albeit injured.\
\
\&#xNAN;**(1.8) Popped Vehicle**\
\
▫️You are not permitted to drive a vehicle with one or more tires popped. You must realistically call a DOT member to repair your vehicle. If your vehicle is on fire or smoking, you must call the fire department and also request assistance from a DOT member.\
\
\&#xNAN;**(1.9) Firearms**\
\
▫️You must be near your vehicle to pull out a large firearm, as it is unrealistic to have it concealed on your player. This rule does not apply to tactical teams, including SWAT. Additionally, pistols are the only firearms allowed to be carried on your person.\
\
\&#xNAN;**(2.0) Engaging is Mass Crime**\
\
▫️Continuously committing crimes in-game can negatively impact the roleplay experience. It's important to take a break and allow yourself a cooldown before engaging in any new criminal activity to maintain a balanced and enjoyable environment for everyone.\
\
\&#xNAN;**(2.1) Evading Law Enforcement**\
\
▫️Only evade law enforcement if you have a legitimate reason, such as being wanted for a specific crime. Evading without a valid reason is not allowed.\
\
\&#xNAN;**(2.2) Civilian Jobs**

\
When role-playing a civilian job, always adhere to the law and avoid committing any crimes to maintain a realistic and immersive roleplay experience.\
\
\&#xNAN;**(2.3) Roadbook**\
\
▫️If you encounter a roadblock set up by law enforcement or cones, find a legal route around it instead of attempting to bypass it illegally.\
\
\&#xNAN;**(2.4) RVs Parking and Pursuit**\
\
▫️Refrain from parking RVs outside of High Rock Park. Additionally, starting a pursuit with an RV attached to your vehicle is prohibited.\
\
\&#xNAN;**(2.5) Vehicle Parking**\
\
▫️Always park your vehicle correctly and avoid leaving it in the middle of the road, especially during a mod call, to ensure smooth gameplay and prevent disruptions.
